As you all know and many are experiencing, senior living residents and all Illinoisans have been advised to shelter-in-place to fight the Covid-19 virus. We here at Norwood Crossing, Bethesda Rehab & Senior Care and Norwood Seniors Network are all well and morale among seniors and staff members is good.

Our Nursing, Housekeeping and Dietary departments and in-home caregivers are working hard to keep our facilities and seniors healthy and safe. As you can imagine, we are using much more personal protection equipment and our staff members are working more shifts than ever expected. Our budgets for overtime, hand sanitizer, face masks, bleach wipes, gloves, disinfectant spray and myriad other products are overstretched.
